About LinkBacksI want to stop getting notification of subscribe threads .. but i don't know how to stop .. its a headache ..

How to control notification ???
I want to stop getting notification of subscribe threads .. but i don't know how to stop .. its a headache ..
any help ?

Go to the subscribed thread then click on Thread Tools -> Unsubscribe and no more headaches.
Are you guiding me, how to unsubscribe threads ??? OR how to stop notification of subscribe threads ???

yeah, i already checked the Settings -> General Settings .. i didn't find any option regarding this issue ..

hmm, are you serious IMAGINE ?? .. you think that, i dont know .. how to unsubscribe threads ??
I don't want to unsubscribe my threads .. i just want to stop getting notification only .. like in old days, we have subscribe threads but we are not getting the notification if anyone reply the subscribe thread .. but i think there isn't any option to control these notification system ..
btw thanks for your screen shots .. it will help others in learning how to unsubscribe threads ..
seems to me we (silentninja and i) both misunderstood you. anyways, i don't know of any ways to disable the notification alerts. actually, i like that when your subscribed thread gets posted, it will give you a little warning, so to speak. i'm sure people don't use the Settings link that often to follow up with their threads.
Go to settings - general settings
Under the banner Messaging and Notification there is a drop down menu Default Thread Subscription Mode
There you can set the default to 'Do Not Subscribe'

I actually have the same problem as Emmanuel.
I know how to unsubscribe from a thread and how to turn off and on auto subscribing after posting. Since about a week I get notifications about the new posts in my subscribed threads like I do about a new PM. I think that's really annoying. I hope someone has a solution for that.
I guess I'm one of the rare people that always uses their settings page to check for new posts.
To clarify Emmanual and also I want to check out subscribed threads in the settings page, but want to turn off the notifactions (like the ones you get from new 'Likes' and PMs'.
If we are at it, can you also turn off the notification for a new 'Like'?
