Thread: who releases the movies to us

Hello everyone



I was always wondering for one thing about movies and games from where or which place coming from !! what i mean
when a movie playing in cinema how after it goes to us :) like r6 or r5 etc.. and in which torrent site has those movies first ?!
because all this starting for one source, and after it expanding to other diffrent sites ex. f*n etc ....

There are 2 types of releasers .. one is scene and P2P as you named R5 And Screeners well they are done by P2P groups mostly .. and different P2P groups belong to different sites .. i don't know much about them that where each group is from .. IMAGINE had their own tracker named UTN .. and so on

And As far as scene torrents go .. well they get released on Topsites (Large FTP Dumps) and from there these torrent sites grab them .. for me i would say the torrent sites which release scene releases the fastest are SCC & GFT ..

The movies you get before them being release to cinema come from promotional disk. And the one after cinema release are either promotional disk or as DX said R5 or screener.
For games often they come from store that get the games before release date, and hand them to some consumer. And sometimes from promotional disk.

As to where to get them first, it all depends on releaser or first poster.

Wow Rancid, what a nice explaination, first i had the same question as theone20, but now is everything clear, there is a long way before it just added at the torrents sites, but what is the time, between the FTP sites to the Private torrent trackers?

What RaNCID forgot the mention is that this illustration isn't very accurat, because FTP Sites aren't part of the scene and private trackers like GFT and especially SCC have better sources and are therefore probably higher ranked.
It's also notworthy that it's against the scene rules ot upload releases outside the scene. Whoever get's caught leaking releases get's a scene ban.

thanks to all of you guys i made this thread because i couldnt find any answer everywhere else i didnt imagine that ftp servers are behind not even exist, that good
because that makes very difficult to other to stop piracy, also its unbelievable how fast are the speeds ftps and topsites imagine if you could just sign in and take advantage all this stuff. specialy that you can see movies that are not pre. great photo by the way rancid !! and ima happy to have scc like DX said

yeah in pre the scc is one of the best i dont know any faster from ths tracker

What I believe you forgot to notice was where it says "Scene Cutoff" where the FTP sites begin. I'm 100% confident in my answer that this, is an accurate description of how a release get's Pre'd and distributed. Scene is up top, P2P is at the bottom (including both FXP Racing and P2P sites).
