Hi I really could use some help and this be something simple I am overlooking but I can not see country flags of peers in my ruTorrent peer list. geoip is installed but nothing shows i searched all around plugin wiki with no answers. I have tried to install rutorrent with 3 different scripts on clean install of OS and none have changed this "unknown" flag i get. I know it is not that big a deal to have it working but it is just I am used to it, like to know who uploading and downloading to me and it just looks bad with no flags. since i have used 3 completely different scripts to install rutorrent i am starting to think maybe it is apache???

Thanks for any help resolving this issue as it is annoying me to death. I get great speeds compared to the other scripts i have installed now but still the same no country flag issue and yes i made sure i have _getdir plugin installed as it was on all 3 scripts.

I fixed it I normally would not reply to my own message but here is what i did to fix this issue on my evobox vps gold



ssh into root
enter the 4 following command lines in order 1 at a time now not only does it work but i can even see what city and country
maybe this will help someone in the future.

wget http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/...iteCity.dat.gz
gunzip GeoLiteCity.dat.gz
sudo mkdir -v /usr/share/GeoIP
sudo mv -v GeoLiteCity.dat /usr/share/GeoIP/GeoIPCity.dat
