Default The difference between 33% to 55% and up?

Hello all, I have been wondering as to what impact the reputation percentage has on tracker invites.
For example what kinds of tracker invites would one find in the 33% giveaway margin that's different from the 10% Or what percentage do you need to achieve to find tracker invites like SCC or FTN and the like being given away?

    New User Rank Requirements

You can find scc in 10% when scc give everyone invites. FTN barely anyone here give them out.

An invite whether it be given away in the 10%, 33%, or 55% has no bearing on it's value. An invite is an invite, and that's it. Which is why I still can't understand why some people post the same invite in all three sub-forums at the same time .

Anyway, if your rank allows it, you can post in any sub-forum that you choose to. For me, the only difference is the target audience you want applying. For example, if I posted FTN in 55% I would only see applicants who could access that sub-forum whereas if I posted in the 10% I would probably get X4 the number of applicants. More applicants, more work, more headache, you see?

Yep, you explained that extremely well. I was under the impression that you wouldn't find good invites in the 10% section but I realize now that I was mistaken in that thinking. Thanks to you and everyone who replied =D

I am fairly active my friend, just curious that's all. I do intend to progress through the ranks and I have the patience to do so. Thanks anyway.

Its actually quite a clever system. The idea of being 10% or 33% or whatever means you can view the giveaways possibly to higher trackers when your rank is higher but I think its more about the inviter being able to vet somebody better as they have more history here the higher you climb.
So when you climb higher you are more likely to get higher level invites, not just due to the rank but if you are a worthy candidate then you'll be seen as that a lot easier with a longer visable history here that goes with a higher rank.
Look at it another way - if you were now given the rights to access all the giveaway sections as you are, you still wouldn't get many invites as nobody knows you here yet and it would be a bigger gamble for the inviter.

I'm still just a 10%-er, but the draw for 33% for me would be the ability to post in the requests section. If they opened that section up to everyone who completed the 10% registration process I could imagine it would get flooded pretty quickly! As it is, a quick look in there suggests that most of the people looking for invites are known, respected, and aren't going to abuse the invites - so if you ask for one, you have a good chance of some generous soul helping you out.

I'm very, very cautious when inviting someone from the 10% forums. I've had 4 of my invitees banned out of the 11 invites I gave out, and all of those were members of the 10% forum. No good.

By posting in the 55% forum I have less of a chance of inviting some bad egg. T-I requires you to jump through some hoops and adhere to certain rules in order to progress to higher levels. Trackers require the same sort of things. If someone can't figure out how to progress here without violating rules or getting banned, they certainly aren't going to survive at most trackers.

This is really making sense now, I'm wondering if I missed this info in the rules or sign ups somewhere? I did read the rules pretty thoroughly so I wonder why I couldn't find this information in the area 51 section or anything. It's really helpful to know the facts about the rank and to avoid misconceptions. So that's why trackers like PTP require T-I giveaways to be done in the 55% section and such most of the time? Because they are after more reliable, active and well known people?

Most trackers don't like the idea of giveaway forums such as T-I. You'll want to avoid telling anyone at the trackers you joined that you received the invite through this forum. I believe that is stated explicitly in the rules for T-I.

That said, the trackers generally wouldn't care whether the invite was given away in a 10%, 33%, or 55% forum. They are all considered bad.

Some trackers do have rules that allow the trading giving of invites in the VIP section of T-I, and that is where you will find the PTP and What.cd invites.

The inviter has the option of filtering applicants by posting the giveaway thread in a higher level giveaway section, such as 55% or whatever. It isn't to satisfy the tracker rules (in most cases), but rather to make the job of filtering out bad apples a little easier.

Tl:DR version: It isn't the tracker's that determine which section a giveaway is placed, but rather the inviter's own wishes. Some trackers aren't allowed in anything but the VIP section of T-I.

    Edit: Bad word choice!
