Thread: SCC RSS filter suggestions?

Does anyone have any suggestions that I could use on SCC to get a buffer, as I have just bought a seedbox for a month.
What filters do you suggest I use?

I'm just experimenting with RSS on my box and am interested to see what other members suggest. However I was able to create a nice buffer just by downloading some new movie packs from the archive section. You will have a decent buffer in no time. Be cautious of partial leechers, some of the packs are large and it can be deceiving and look like there will be lots of peers. Week 39 is due out very soon if not overdue.

I've never used the RSS feed on SCC. I stuck with the archive section and grabbed a couple of packs when they was released and I was able to do rather well with them buffering wise.

forget rss use the icon next to it the autodl irrsi it grabs torrents as soon as they are announced m8 i only have 100mbit box and have built a nice buffer in just a few days depending on what box u have and other aspects like if autodl irrsi is installed as sometimes is does'nt m8

if anyone can point me in the right direction as to how to set one up. i've looked at the tutorials section and i am absolutely 100% confused on which autodownloader thread to look at and where to start

I've never used the RSS plugin, but I am on SCC and the easiest way to build a buffer is to grab as much archived material as possible and seed like crazy. Larger packs especially get good speeds, nab a few and try it out :)

i was looking for an instant download. that was what i was confused with. utorrent only updates the feed every 5 minutes and doesnt go any lower.

@rancid if it weren't for those, i'd be that guy with a 1.1 ratio

I am assuming you already know how to use the RSS and all and are just asking for suggestion for good auto-snatches to build up ratio specifically on SCC.

Best way to go is the current and popular TV shows ..... they come up quick and theres usually hundreds of snatches within a day.

e.g

breaking bad, weeds, dexter, (entourage , uptill alil while back)

or just open the tv releases and see which ones get snatched over a few hundred times within a week of there release (coz then the next episode is in)

this should get a good start.
