Thread: Underground Gamer torrents

Hey guys, I really need a help from you.
The thing is that when I download some torrent (of the freeleech toplist) from UG, and I open it in my uTorrent, it appears red for me, I've just downloaded one file and I can't seed it because it stills red, and when I open the torrent file to download in my seedbox the ruTorrent says that I've logged in "secure" mode on UG, and it appears to block the download of the file.
what it could be ?!

I'm not on Undergroud Gamer, but have you enabled the option 'force https'? If that's the case you also need to enable it in your torrent client(s).
You also need to provide some more info: since how long do you have this problem? Have you ever been able to leech/seed torrents from this tracker? Have you recently changed any settings on UG or in your torrent clients?

I'm pretty sure that https/http is the problem.

I haven't checked this option at all. Ok, I have been able to seed/leech from this tracker before, and I didn't changed anything on my client or tracker settings. But I remember the last times that always when I complete a file on it, it auto-turns red and it doesn't seed at all, it happens with most of the files that I take from there. I don't have this problem with my other trackers.

Am I understanding you right and you can download a file from this tracker, but as soon as it is complete it turns red? or does it just turn red after some time?
If it's only with some torrents it can be the case that they got deleted (error message: 'unregistered torrent').
Can you please post error message you get when you have downloaded a torrent and then it turns red (should be in the torrent details).
I'm confused because in the first posts you also mentioned that you can't download.
Do you try to download/seed the same file on your seedbox and in your home client?

Oh, sorry. Maybe I got you confused. Let me explain better, I first tried to download on my seedbox, that I couldn't (It said that my login on UG was in secure mode to download it). Then I downloaded on my uTorrent, but it turned red after sometime when I was already downloading it, but when I completed it I couldn't upload it, it says "seeding" but in red, even with many leechers I can't upload even a byte of the file. It happens only with UG torrents. I don't know why I can't put them to download on my seedbox, and I don't know what this "secure mode login" is. =\

Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is supported by all bittorrent clients. It's a request/response standard between a client and server.

Hypertext Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer (HTTPS) is a URI scheme used to indicate a secure HTTP connection and protects data in transit from eavesdropping. A self-signed certificate must be accepted (via your BitTorrent client) before you will be allowed to connect to the tracker.
Not every client supports the HTTPS protocol, so please ensure that your client has this feature before choosing this type.

The HTTPS tracker may circumvent ISP throttling. if you have a problem with ISP throttling you probably want to use the HTTPS tracker.
Note, you will have to re-download all of your torrents after switching to the HTTPS tracker since the secure tracker uses a different URL. Any torrents you fail to re-download will still run on the normal (HTTP) tracker.

Seems like you have your download set to (HTTPS) and as it says in the FAQ not every client supports the HTTPS protocol. Go to your profile page and check this:



Again not sure if this is the issue. I know I have had issues before when downloading via a HTTPS with certain sites.
