    Default pyWHAT filter question

    Back again with another stupid question. There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

    I tried and tried and tried to get autodl-irssi to work and it never did so I gave in and tried pyWHATauto. Well, it connects to irc, I'm getting irc bonus on BTN, and I think I set my filters up right? If someone here who knows a little about pywhat could just look my settings.conf and filters for me and tell me if I did something wrong, that would be great, because like I said, I'm in IRC, but the past 4 nights of shows haven't auto-downloaded.

    [broadcasthenet]
    nickowner=1111111@MyUsername.BTNURL
    chanfilter=#BTN-WhatAuto
    username=MyUsername
    password=MyIRCPassword
    botNick=MyBotNick
    ircKey=MyIRCKey
    nickServPass=MyNSPass
    ;watch= <- Am I supposed to put something here?

    Also, at the top it says:
    ;cmd= using the "cmd" option during startup you can send a raw command to the server, in most case the toggle for a vhost

    Do I have to add something like /msg nickserv identify blah blah blah?

    I've had similar difficulty with BTN, you need to go to their forums (I don't have the direct link, I'll look for it), but you need to /msg CableGuy and get your autodl client added in the system.

    BluntedKing, see the link below:

    Yes, you need to message the bot and the above tutorial shows you how. I literally just did this this past weekend.

    I'm in the channel and identified though. Also, I'm not using irssi, I'm using pywhatauto. Nowhere in the setup or config is there anywhere to put my authkey and torrent_pass

    I hope I'm not off-topic now. I have pyWHAT working with What.cd and haven't really put any thought into setting it up with other trackers. Since I've heard about Autodl-irssi several times (and know nothing about it apart from its name), I wonder what is preferable for instance with BTN, to use pyWHAT or Autodl-irssi?
