How often can you change your username?

Go to Settings -> Edit Profile -> Username Change - Optional you will see there how often can you change your username. I don't know about normal users but i have You may change your username once every 1 day(s).

Since you're a regular user (not staff, exalted, or vip), you can only change your username by requesting it here: Contact Staff
You need to have a good reason for doing it (ie it's similar to a username on a tracker), and cannot just do it on a whim like sam8cb is presumably able to.
As for how often, I guess you can request it as often as you want, but they won't necessarily approve all your requests and may just see excessive requests as spam.
