i face this problem some time ago.
first you need login details to get in your router's settings.these details will you get from your service provider.you cannot get login details from Internet.
then from router you can forward the ports.
hi m8, follow this link
http://portforward.com/
I tried to find your model but couldn't ? just go through them and should at the least find one similar
when u click on a router link, click skip this advertisement..... at the top right of page to continue, i got stuck
at this point before lol, then find your client and follow instructions, good luck and i hope this helps:)
Yes i tried that site before but like you said the model i have is not on the list there.
@graphic: What do you mean with the router settings from the service provider?
mate you have to get access of your router settings.then you can forward the ports.for get in to router setting type your ip in browser url bar and press ok.a log in page will appear then if you have user name and pass then log in.there you will get router settings and you can forward port.
if you dont have log in details.you have to ask your provider for details.
Actually, you can most of the time. You can find a manual for most routers on the internet that will tell you default login details. Even when the router is provided by an ISP, they often use a single default password. Which is why you should change it.
Google says, get your manual here
Your default username is admin and default password is admin
If these don't work, then contact your ISP to obtain your login details.
The manual should tell you how to port forward. If there truly isn't port forwarding - rare, but some Chinese knockoff routers have very limited feature sets - then see if your router is supported by third party firmware. The manual notes that the router can be re-flashed with DD-WRT firmware which would certainly include port forwarding.
Fortune and love favour the brave .-. Ovid ....
and +1 again
Yes you can do that but be aware that this enables any rogue app or process inside your network to open ports simply by requesting it correctly of your router. From a security standpoint it is best to disable upnp....or you could just enable uPnP which forwards ports automaticly (it's how i've done it)

Hi all,
This is Howard from TP-LINK Support Force.
TL-WA801ND is not a router. Both LAN port and wireless are in the same second layer network.
Since there's no NAT between wireless and LAN port, you don't need and impossible to open port on it.
Port forwarding is a concept for routers.
