Default Setting up auto DL irssi issue.

I am trying to setup irssi and trying to add both BitMeTV and thebox and in the trackers section of the rtorrent plugin it says to go to the tracker and copy the following text into the address bar and press enter.

    javascript:document.innerHTML=document.cookie

But when I do that nothing happens what should I see happen on screen when I enter that text and should I enter it after the home page URL or remove the URL and just enter the text?

If anyone could answer this it would be much appreciated as am eager to use this plugin.

What kind of UI do you use? You said rtorrent plugin, but I think you mean rutorrent, right or rtorrent GUI?

For the rutorrent autodl-irssi plugin you need to go the BitMeTV homepage type javascript:document.innerHTML=document.cookie in the url address bar and press enter. Be sure to allow cookies and turn off the javascript security from FF.
You need also do the same with TheBox then you copy-paste the text, written on the page, into the right field in the tracker tab.
Set up a filter, let your IRC bot monitor the right channels and THERE YOU GO.

If you need help feel free to PM me, but keep in mind that asking for an invite is not considered help.

Open up your default browser, go to the BitMeTV homepage and type in javascript:document.innerHTML=document.cookie in the address bar, only this should be in the address bar. After that you hit enter and copy-paste the text with the cookie info in the tracker tab in the autodl-irssi plugin.

You got me wrong. You don't need FireFox just do that in your default browser.
In FireFox you will get this warning:

You need to enable it in the about:config file, which I do not recommend you.

This is how I am putting it in and the result I get in my regular browser Safari.

Remove the BitMeTV.ORG/index.php and paste javascript:document.innerHTML=document.cookie instead and THEN press enter, do not press enter before that.

OPS, I think this was my fault: javascript:document.innerHTML=document.cookie
I misspelled it. I'm sorry for the embarrasing mistake.
