I'm not sure how effective encryption will be if you aren't somehow disguising your endpoint. If you're transferring data via bittorrent from someone known to be distributing copyrighted content via bittorrent and you aren't hiding your IP via proxy, VPN, etc then the contents of the traffic aren't really all that important.

We would all like to think that some things are private and personal but just remember What ever you do, what ever you say, someone somewhere is watching if they want to get you they will it's wrong I know but a fact the only way you will ever stop worrying about this is to stop torrenting and I guess that will never happen

One VPN I use that I have not seen mentioned in the thread, and from what I read they keep the last 48 hours of log and then delete them is "Hide my ass pro". You can choose the country you get the new IP in (several available) and the speed is good if the ip is nearby geographically. It can even force your uTorrent Internet connection to go through the VPN so that if the VPN connection drops uTorrent does not continue on the unencrypted Internet connection. It's about 80$ US per year.

That's pretty expensive when you consider that you can put 100 people on a 20$ VPS.
You can buy a 15$ VPS for one year and get better VPN speeds and no logfiles at all.
I will never understand why people still buy VPNs, but that's just my personal opinion.

seedboxes are meant for downloading stuff; VPNs are for hiding your ass from all the naughty things you can do in the internet (ie. downloading in general, watch porn, change IP if the site blocks you/your location...)

You got me wrong. I meant instead of buying a very cheap VPS and setting up the VPN themselves.

With Ukash you can buy a prepaid card loaded with your desired amount of money, without it being connected to any personal information (well, for the greatly paranoid, of course you will need to hide your face a little bit from the cameras in the store ;-)). Then you can use Ukash to buy a VPS (or whatever you prefer) for a certain amount of time. Ukash is available in 20 countries or so.

Edit: Magister, could you perhaps direct me to the VPS servers you have in mind? They sound very interesting.
