Thread: how to install deluge 1.3.1

I try to install deluge from deluge offical website I coudlnt success nither I unisntall can anyone help me to install deluge 1.3.1 I codult even do webgui I use evobox they have script for deuge but its 1.3.3 and my main tracker doesnt allow that clint so bad :/so if anyone help me would be nice XD

What kind of OS are you using?

For Ubuntu and all Debian clones it's actually pretty easy.
(either log in as root or type sudo before every command - the latter is preferred)

apt-get update
apt-get install deluged
apt-get install deluge-webui

Now su as the user you want to run Deluge with:

su - your_username_here
deluged
screen -fa -d -m -S deluge-web deluge-web

Go to http://your_server_IP:8112/
Password: deluge
You should change your password and also the default ports.

Each time you restart your server you need to start deluge again, because making an init scrip would be too long for this answers.
You will most likely find a lot of tutorials with the Google searchengine.

I did this but its installed 1.3.3 I want 1.3.1 becayuse my main tracker doesnt support 1.3.3 and rtorrnet is give so much HDD over I cant use my full 2gbps how can I especially get 1.3.1

THIS IS 1.3.1, but if you have already installed 1.3.3 it will only open 1.3.3.
Believe me, I have 1.3.1 running, because of the same reason.
