Certainly SATA drives won't sustain that rate, you need faster RAID arrays or SSD drives to take full advantage of Gigabyte+ lines. Even with notably fast swarms e.g. large SCC packs.. if you clock the completion times, even the fastest Gigabit boxes in the swarm will rarely exceed an end to end average speed > 40 MB/s.

So while you can see bursts to ~ 100 MB/s, even dedi gigabyte (non SSD) will only 'sustain' ~ 60 MB/s for a portion of the torrent. And the end to end average will be substantially lower than that. You can do better with dedi SSD, but I still wouldn't expect to average anything near 100 MB/s.

I'd love to be proven wrong. So if you know something that we don't, please share!

then I need to buy current becuase its raid and info says its write 190 mb/s maximum avrage 140 stream is 90 mb/s max avg 60 mb/s wrting speed but those service verry expensive as you see :D the quesiton on my mind is is it worth D:

Ok, i'm not an expert and such but 140 MB/s sustained in raid0 and 60 MB/s in non raid? We are talking about 133% increase unless my maths are wrong. As far as i know, raid0 will give you theoretically 100% increase but in reality it will be more like 50%. This means that the best you should expect from the current plan cannot exceed 90 MB/s. If someone knows better about raid setups, it will be cool to jump here and enlighten us coz i'm thinking of setting a raid0 in my home PC as well :)

And to answer your question, no it's not worthy to spend all these money for such a little gain. I believe that when it comes to value for money, the diamond plan is the clear winner.

If they use SAS hard drives in their raid0 systems and not SATA then yes they can achieve higher speeds but if both raid0 and non raid systems are using the same SATA hard drives then there is no way that your speed will go from 60MB/s to 140MB/s unless if you use 3 or more hard drives of the same SATA technology in raid0.

I think you need to decide for yourself how much money you are willing to spend per month, not only how much you can spend.
You also have to keep in my that you won't be able to max this top speed out a lot, maybe once every two day for a couple of minutes. In my opinion that's not worth the money. Why are you also so fixiated on EvoBoxes? You just need to look for a provider which also offers EvoSwitch servers.

Theoratically you can also get a 1TB SSD with a 10GBits line, if you are willing to spend multpile thousands per month. It always depends on how much you are willing to spend.
