Default Force Re-Check After Relocating files ?

I downloaded a multiple file torrent, I relocated and renamed just one file of that torrent and I wanted to seed just that one part that I renamed. When I went to utorrent I located the torrent and went to the files tab and I right clicked on that files that I didn't want to seed and click don't download. I then right clicked on that one file that I did want to seed and pointed utorrent to where it was. I then did a force-recheck but it stops at 99.9%. If I tell to start the torrent it starts downloading. It only re-downloads the file that I wanted to re-seed, I think. The thing that trips me is when I look at the file that I only wanted to re-seed i see that it was modified the day that I decided to re-seed it. Also when I look where I have my completed torrents I see that utorrent created a folder with the orginal name of the file that I renamed with a 8mb .dat file in it. It would make sense that's what I redownloaded, but I wanted to hear what everyone else thinks and if they have ran into this too and if i should be concerned about it. Also when i click on the file that I wanted to re-seed it plays.
    thx

Default Re: Force Re-Check After Relocating files ?

basically it depends on the size of the piece i.e block size of the torrent if it is large like 4-16mb than while partial seeding it may pose problems even u want to seed only one file it will partly download other files and that is the reason it says 99.9 percent as .1 percent is the data of other file.
only understand that torrent treats all files as one continuous file and parts it in to blocks
,thus one marginal block contains data from end of one file and beginning of other file
