Default Help in identifying relevant trackers

    Hey guys,

I am an old school filesharer, but i have limited private torrent knowledge.

I am looking for a good lossless music tracker (flac, ape etc.), but i am unsure which i should try to get into.

Also since i cannot post in the requests section i am unsure how to find an invite to said tracker once i know which is relevant for me.

    any help is much appreciated

waffles and what.cd are the trackers you need to get ,both got perfect flac rips
but they are somewhat hard to get in.
    other tracker is losslessworld.com
anyway browse through tracker reviews section ,u'll find all you want
for good music tracker u need either good speed home connection or seedbox and some decent ratioproofs.

There are a number of music trackers that have significant lossless collections. There are even handful of trackers that are exclusively lossless.

You best bet is to read the tracker reviews, where most of the music trackers are described. And search the forums as there have been many posts discussing the various music trackers. You can't make requests until you become a 33% member. But waffles, one of the largest music trackers, with a lot of lossless albums will sometimes show up in the 10% giveaway forum. You can't request what.cd here. But LLW is another one to watch for. Smaller trackers include Coexist and Rockhard lossless.

A few premiere trackers like Pedro's or E**** (not allowed to spell the name out in public) are very good lossless sites, but also very difficult to secure an invite to.

I can also recommend you What.cd, because it has about 150.000 flacs. I haven't seen anything on Waffles that wasn't on What.cd.

The best specialized FLAC trackers are:

    • Pedro's BTMusic http://www.torrent-invites.com/track...ic-2010-a.html A rather small tracker with a lots of uploads you can't find elsewhere and it's very hard to get an invite.
    • E**** : A very small community with very strict rules. It's nearly impossible to get an invite unless you are a major uploader in Pedro's. The difficulty level of getting an invite to this tracker is about the same as HDBits.org, but E**** has an open invite system. Every invite has to be approved by staff first.
Unless you care a lot about privacy and exclusivity you should favor What.cd, because the smaller the userbase the less uploads.
The trackers mentioned above have about the same number of FLACS as on What.cd, but you probably won't find them on What.cd.

EDIT: And I got beat by 3 guys.

I would suggest you same as others with What.CD and Waffles but also if you dont mind listening to other albums and what to build a good collection you can also look at TL and IPT which are general trackers , easy to get into and have good content and most importantly variety .You may always not find the format but the collection wise they are good !

RuTracker, What.cd, Pedro's, waffles, LosslessWorld and LosslessClub have good FLAC contents and ordered from biggest content to smaller one (as I know).

LosslessClub & LosslessWorld have no great number of files but they will be. Rutracker open and great place to start specially about flacs it's the best. What.cd the biggest music tracker has both lossy and lossless contents and then waffles. Pedro's the biggest specialized lossless tracker.

If you are an old school filesharer i think you'll enjoy with:

    Dimeadozen
    Thetradersden
    Hungercity
    Losslesslegs
    Zombtorrents
    Mind-Warp PaVilion

(All bootlegs, and quite easy to enter in)

If you aren't interested in bootlegs:

    What.CD (Not easy to enter)
Demonoid (Quite easy: be patient, sometime every week they allow to sign in)

There are a bunch of tracker reviews here on T-I. If you go to the following link they are organised by Genre - http://www.torrent-invites.com/tracker-reviews/44881-review-index-name-nickname-genre-year.html#post429053

No doubt many of the trackers mentioned in this thread are reviewed there, and useful for future reference when you are looking for trackers that best suit your needs.

Thx guys, your feedback is much appreciated.

I tried signing up for rutracker, but i never got the email that lets me activate my account.. weird. Nevertheless it sounds like a place i'd enjoy. I also think waffles is a place for me, hopefully i can get in there at some point.

    cheers!
