I have tried to look around but couldn't quite find the answer for this question.

When you are providing proof for an invite does your speed test have to be from your local machine even though you doing everything through a seed box?

    Thanks in advance

You can provide separate proofs. If you have been asked for a speedtest, you MUST post it from your residential connection. A seedbox proof or seedbox speedtest is a different thing but posting these can help your chances of receiving the invite IMMENSELY :)

Inviters want to see your home connection mostly but ultimately they have to post it - write it down. If they did not request it, you have a right to post your seedbox connection.

This might be a stupid question but why is that? Because if I'm doing everything through a remote box, surely it's that connection that matters and not my home connection right?

the speedtest from your home connection confirms your location. Particularly key for trackers that ban certain countries.

I would suggest when applying for invites to provide both a speedtest from your home connection, and a seedbox proof, to maximise your chances of getting an invite.

see, seedboxes cost money and when you happen to have a tough time in your life, you're not going to be able to afford it anymore and will have to do with your home connection. call it "a fall back" or smth.
also, speedtests are awesome in verifying locations. apparently, some trackers have banned entire countries from accessing their sites.

SCC has banned my country . So requesting that invite is wrong on my part and If i dont know that the invitee knows that he should not invite me !

First of all, it's a proof that you're from a country you claim to be in your intro. Secondly, if you loose your seedbox, you'll have to use your home connection.
