Default Re: about Webhosting and database

normally when you create a database you need to install phpmyadmin then choose the localhost as the default host, root as the username and there is no default password or your can pick an username and a password. after you are done, you need to upload the database to your server form the PC. so you can go to phpmyadmin, select your database and then click export. then tick/check the appropriate options that need to be checked/ticked, and after you are done, click go button. to upload the database to your server, open the phpmyadmin on your server, then select import. you can upload the database file that way. after that you will need to change the host, username and password.
if you are using a VPS then you can easily install phpmyadmin to the server then do the relevant configurations or you are using a web hosting service + CPanel then you've gotta make sure that they support for PHP, MYSQL and other cool features :)

here is a pic of view dump of database------>http://image.torrent-invites.com/ima...alhost_ca.jpeg

I haven't used ASP but PHP to build web pages, sorry I can't comment on ASP part but normally you can upload the files via FTP from your PC to the server by using any ftp client.
