I have a question and I dont want to incur the wrath of the mods ;) If I make a post advertising X invites to Y tracker for Z stats, and say a few hours later, after no bites, I wish to edit the post and make it say Z / 2 stats. If this is done so as to permit more people to have invites, and enhance the community (KEEP SEEDING), is this acceptable? (Not everytime of course, sparingly)

I don't see a problem with that. I don't recall any rules prohibiting it (invite rules), lots of members have done so and I haven't noticed any objections when it is done in a responsible manner. So unless staff tell you otherwise, sure.

Your specific example seems odd though. "A few hours" is a very short time period before deciding to change your invite requirements. It seems at odds with your "sparingly" appellation. Perhaps after two days, then it would seem perfectly fine to me.

edit: you are allowed to bump a post once per day

You can change your requirements, and edit your original post as much as you want. Editing your original post does not bump the post.

Do not bump the post more than once every 24 hours even if you have made changes.

Makes sense to me, I wasn't sure of the pace of this forum, as to how fast things move. But as learned, its a well-oiled machine, and I should let the searches and what not happen for the folks on the other side of the planet. ;)
