Thread: User CP

I have a bookmark in my browser that takes me straight to my User CP. I like to see which threads I've posted in has new posts. However when I get into the CP, it tells me that there are threads with new posts when I am still the last person to post in them. Anyone know why this is happening?

No reason, really. It's a cookie thing. If the threads you posted in are in bold it means you haven't opened it up since your visit. If it's just regular 'non-bold' it just means you've opened it once already during the current session. Close the tab and re-open it again and you'll probably see those posts have disappeared. Really don't know what you mean by bookmarking your 'user CP', but if you post regularly I'd just use the new posts.php or the what's new.php buttons/links.

They're basically the same Hypertext Preprocessor link & you can see if you posted in a thread with the little plus ( ) icon like so:

And if or when you're a forum whore like I appear to be you'll just recognize threads you posted in just by reading the threads title

It just seemed strange to me because I post at some other boards and when I'm in my User CP, only threads that actually have new posts show up. This is even if I am in the same session. It's not a big deal though, just something I noticed.
