Thread: Torrenting and Relakks

So my country, New Zealand, for some stupid reason thought it would be good to make downloading music and movies etc from torrents/limewire/frostwire illegal and punishable with a $15,000 fine. Smfh. I'm looking into using Relakks, the Swedish protection that lets you surf anonomously under their law, it cost's 50euros a year, which is somewhat cheap. I'm just wondering, how reliable is Relakks? And pleaaaaaaaase I don't need any competitor messages saying "I used Relakks and they stole all my money, join us at ______ :D" If I'm going to use anything, I'll probably use Relakks. Also does anybody have any info on ipredator? I think it was made by the same people as Relakks, is it better or worse?

The service they provide is called VPN, it is safe if they are a serious business. You don't get a static IP though, so be carefull on using it at private trackers.

Fractal is absolutely wright, u don't get a static IP from there and it is very risky for private trackers. so be careful

Thanks Fractal, I'm quite new to this whole anonymous thing, I've always torrented but just yesterday the new law was passed so I'm looking into ways to get around it. Will using this VPN Relakks program prevent them from seeing that I've been torrenting? All I'm looking for is a way to torrent using uTorrent with ThePirateBay. I believe Relakks was made from the same people that made TPB but I could be wrong. It's hard to distinguish true and false reviews as most of the bad reviews are competitive companies trying to down the rep of more popular companies.

Do you know of any companys that offer static IP?

try to Get a dedicated seedbox with Xirvik, in here u can get a VPN and your own unshared seedbox. they r very good provider and reliable also, u can get very good support from them
