ok, so in rutorrent you have already added the RSS feed for the site?

If so, right click it and choose "RSS Manager"

add and give it a name in the left hand window

in the Filter field, you need to type what you want to download, with / at either end. if you put an "i" directly after then it will match either UPPER or lower case, or a MixTUre.

for example, if you wanted to download every torrent that says "Bluray" in the title, then the Filter field needs to be set to:

    /bluray/i

you can then use the Exclude field in the same way, but it means it will NOT download torrents that match the first field but not the 2nd.

for example, if you want to download "bluray" but not "720p" or "480p" or "XviD" then you would keep "/bluray/i" in the Filter field, and add the following in the Exception field:

    /720p|480p|xvid/i

the "|" is the pipe symbol, normally shift + \ (left of keyboard, between shift and z)

best thing to do would be to look at a couple of torrents you want to download in the rss feed in rutorrent, find a word to match and a couple of words that block the torrents in the feed that you don't want to download, and modify my above examples.

below is a copy of my rss manager - as you can see it is set to download all torrents that match "hollyoaks", regardless of capitalisation, but it doesn't downlod any torrent that matches "hollyoaks" and also any or all of "720p", "music" or "classic".

    hope this helps!

The pipe symbol means "or", but as far as I'm aware there is no "and".

What u can do is us ".*" - the "." matches any character, and the "*" matches any number of characters after the "." Another useful character is "?" which means the previous character may or may not be there.

For example, to match your blurays, I guess they are all going to have "bluray" and "1080p", and will either be "avc" or "vc-1".

    /.*blu.?ray.*1080p.*?(avc|vc.?1)/i

I think that should match the right ones. You may need to add x264 to the exclude field:

    /x264/i

Let me know if that works...

Cool- if it starts downloading wrong files let me know the full names as they appear in the RSS feed and we'll see if there's another phrase we can use to distinguish between files...
