Thread: Music Site or Program

I don't know if it is against the rules to ask here, but anyway, I am looking for an MP3 site or program from where I can download free some songs, old and new.



I tried BearShare and iMesh, they looked good first, I wasn't dissapointed till i saw that many,many,many songs are not in mp3 quality and iTunes reads only half of the song. I need the music for my iPod. Thanks.

You won't find any site that have quality separate music tracks uploaded. ruTracker have a huge collection of best quality mp3s and other formats of music. You will find many discografies of rare and known artist and you can download just a few tracks select what you want in utorrent. When you search for music use the aritst or album name and not the name of the song...

also i don't like any music download programs as they contain a lot of fake music and also viruses trojans etc...

Thanks sam, I am a member of Ru Tracker but i find it hard to use for music because of it's main language. I can wait for other answers too.:)

if you're looking for mp3 formats, then you are lucky. most of the albums are probably under 100mb big, which means you don't even have to register there. but in that case, you'd have to use google search instead because the sites own search function is only available when logged in. google "site:rutracker.org ???" and cross your fingers.

Hmmm. I may get this question wrong, but what about the music trackers waffles and what.cd?
I also use Spotify free for music. It's basically an online iTunes library with nearly everything.
I really don't see why you are suggesting a general tracker for music, that's why I really think I'm getting something wrong here.
My answer seems to obvious.

it's not just another general tracker. do a music search in one of your "general trackers" and then search the same thing on rutracker. see the difference?!
also, people use rutracker to upload to what and waffles so...IT'S VERY UNDERRATED (mostly because it's in russian)
