Thread: Bittorrent Question

There's a strange thing that happens seemingly whenever I use Bittorrent. While i'm downloading a torrent, everything goes well. I'm downloading from the seeds, and i'm uploading to the peers i'm connected to. However, once I finish downloading, I seem to disconnect from all of my peers, and I stop uploading. I'll randomly see one or two peers connect for a second, and then randomly disconnect again.

Is there something perhaps in my settings that I should fix? (I use random port and port mapping, because I heard that if you use random ports, it makes it harder for the ISP to notice suspicious activity. Not sure if it's true or not, or whether this could be the possible reason)

It sounds like you need to increase your maximum number of active torrents or there's just a high seed to peer ratio.
