Thread: [FIXED] iGiver Problems

UPDATE Aug 29th: All three problems have been fixed.

We are currently experiencing 3 iGiver problems:

1) Displays a blank white page after a successful submission. If you see a blank white page it means the iGiver was successfully accepted. Do not hit the back button and resubmit the form or it will provide a duplicate iGiver.

2) The iGiver number is not being updated in the postbit (under your avatar in a post).

3) Displays an error message but does not indicate what the problem is. This means one of the 4 required fields was not filled out correctly:

You were the: Receiver / Inviter
Overall Experience: Postitive / Negative
Invite thread URL: **This is where most people run into problems**
A Short Comment: You must type something in this field or you will get an error.

^Be sure you are posting a valid URL to the giveaway thread.



We just noticed these problems yesterday, so give us a few days to figure out what's causing them.

Reply to this thread if you need assistance. i.e. Deleting a duplicate iGiver, help verifying a URL is valid, etc

yeah, so I am probably the first one, I haven't noticed this post before. anyway I think I gave somebody 2 iGivers, please PM for the name.

i think the feedback score under the avatar doesn't update any more
but the feedback score in the profile is working well

Err.. dunno if this counts but I received a PM regarding an iGiver being given to me but it doesn't show up on my feedback page.


We ran hundreds of tests. It's possible a few iGivers were lost during the testing. Either that or you might have experienced the problem with the iGiver score below your avatar not updating properly. If that was the problem, it should be fixed now that we've updated the counters. -Vegas

Yesterday shadowbuild removed some duplicate iGivers from my score, today I have some more. Could you please remove dupe iGivers by Extremis, sibianul23 and shawnarae from my profile? Thanks

i don't see that i got two iGivers but i got two private messages (iGiver Rating Notification) it's this normal?
