Thread: question's about: what are invites?

I keep seeing how to get an invite.Please forgive my lack of knowledge about invites.But what are they?

you can only register to a closed private tracker with the help of an invite. sometimes it's a e-mail with a link you have to click to register, sometimes it's a random code like "afeigioOGUBOUSVB" that you will have to copy-paste to the corresponding box at the signup page. clear?

Most of the trackers use an invite system, meaning that if you wish be to be part of a certain tracker you must first be invited by someone who is already a member.
Some trackers do have open registration from time to time, which means that for a specific amount of time you will be able to register to the tracker without being invited by a member.
