The speed at which you are downloading from your torrent is not only based on your ISP but based on the max upload speed the seeders have set on there torrents. Getting a seed box will allow you to normally download faster than your ISP gives you, however if the people seeding that torrent have their uploads set at low speeds then the seed box will also retrieve the file slow. Once the files are complete on the seed box you should be able to download the file from the server at the max speed your ISP gives you. I see the biggest benefit of the seed boxes in that I do not have share my ISP connection with others and my seedbox can download and seed far faster than I would be able to a home.
In general a seed box is faster when you are downloading from private trackers, if you are downloading from public trackers then it is a game of chance sometimes. Also if you are downloading from public trackers some seed box providers will not allow public trackers on their servers. You can find lots of useful advise here. Seedboxes

You will transfer the files from your seedbox to your PC faster, if your ISP is throttling your torrents and that is the reason for the slow download. If your download is slow because it is your maximum bandwidth, the seedbox transfer will be the same speed.

It's quite possible your ISP is throttling your torrents. Have a look here Bad ISPs - VuzeWiki Is your ISP there? If you do get a seedbox do your research before you buy!

if you use a seedbox, you can get those downloaded files from seedbox to your PC via FTP. then you will most of the time get the maximum speed that your ISP provides. getting a seedbox will be an aspect to increase your downloading speed. but it also depends on your ISP. choosing a proper seedbox provider can be tricky. you can take a look at here Seedbox Reviews. there are many reviews.

tm775 hit the nail on the head - with a seedbox your internet speed only comes into play when you move the file from the seedbox to your PC and you usually do that via FTP. At that point the connection is one-to-one between uploader (your seedbox in this case) and downloader (your PC) rather than one-to-many when downloading a torrent directly. The one-to-one connection of the FTP transfer will tend to be faster, up to your ISP limit.

this is also one of the reasons people upload torrents in multiple file .rar compressed packages - your FTP app can download more than one piece at the same time, helping to speed the transfer even more (again, limited by your max allowed speed from your ISP).
