Thread: My fear of The Banned -- A question about T-I life

Is there a way to see why a user was banned? Alternatively, what are the most frequent reasons members are banned? [And is this even where I should ask this question?]

I feel like I am walking on egg shells. I cannot help but notice as I read through the Forum posts that there are many individuals who have been banned who had significant iGiver points, posts, etc. and appeared to be legitimately involved. I know the golden rule (all invites must be given freely) and have gleaned a silver rule (do not attempt to circumvent the system), but I do not know where the next line is drawn. For example, sending a PM to "Dave" is apparently high treason. (Joke.) I do not even want to post this question without searching again...

The most common reason that I can see is that they stole a ratio proof or speed test from someone else, they were caught cheating and thus their inviter was banned or warned, or they were banned for a multitude of other lesser important reasons.

My tip, just don't do anything that's wrong! example ratio cheating, asking for multiple invites on the same torrent site. etc etc

If you are honest, and don't break the big rules, trading, dupe accounts, ratio cheating, posting false or copied proofs, not declaring you have had a disabled account with a tracker you are applying for in a GA, you are not going to get banned straight off.

T-I staff are not lurking around the forums, waiting for the slightest excuse to kick you out, so if you are honest and respectful, then you don't need to walk on eggshells.

i'l tell u something about infracrtion
1- most common even good members are caught redistributing received bonus as invites.read bonus section rules even before receiving bonus.
2- failing to inform the inviter about ur previous ban at a tracker
3- asking for rep/thanks
4- being a vip does not buy any concession in the rules eg-purple stuff

be a good user,
dont lie,
respect other members and their accounts/privacy,
if your not sure if something your doing is against the rules read the rules or ask before you do it (like with anywhere usually if your not sure if it is against the rules or not it usually is)
and of course have fun :P
