    Default Query on FTP transfer

    Hi,
I have a query. I was not sure where to post it, so I thought I will post it in help section.
Actually, I have 2 seedboxes. I want to know if I transfer files from one seedbox to another using FTP clients, like filezilla or flashfxp, then, will it be counted in my download and upload (by my internet service provider) or is this independent of my ISP (as data is transferred between 2 servers).
I know it will be a basic question for most of you but, unfortunately, I am not too knowledgeable on these things.
    Thanks a million!

obviously it wont be counted in your stats as long as the files never come to your PC at any moment

I second the above, it is server to server directly without using you as the middle man (hence the greater transfer rate than your home connection can handle).

Yes, your ISP won't count it, but your seedbox provider may or may not include that in your overall seedbox bandwidth. Check with your seedbox provider(s) if you want to know for sure.

It is server to server, but in order to do server to server transfers, you will need to have ftp configured to enable it on both seedboxes, if you don't have ssh access you will need to check with your provider. You should also note that server to server transfers are generally not encrypted. This shouldn't be to big of an issue, but you should be aware of it.
