Thread: Can i run the sims 3 & expansion packs?

went on canyourunit it says i cant run the sims 3 world adventures because of 3D,i have a NVIDIA graphics card i went on the website updated my drivers still says i cant,my graphics card is a NVIDIA Geforce GT 420M my video ram is 2.6GB my pixel shader version is 5.0 have a I3 Intel HD graphics 4gig of ram 1GB graphics card. oh forgot to add i went to see if i could run the sims 2 double deluxe it says the same thing about 3D tho i am running that fine ugh

CanYouRunIt will say you can't because you're using a mobile Nvidia Card which is usually not recognized. Based on the Video Card Hierarchy, your 420M should be as good as a GT 240 in terms of performance (not as renderer). You should be able to run the game.
