Thread: have a question for about the famous tracker FTN

I have a question for about the famous tracker FTN, i hope some of you can hhelp me :)
What is the reason that FTN is so well known and many want to get an invite? is it because of the rapid downloading or content, for example? Or what exactly? can that was to include PC games? I would be glad if you tell a little about the ratio and peers.

FTN is desired because of the fact that it is ratioless the truth of the matter is that there is nothing particularly exclusive about the tracker but the much ado about the tracker have made many feel like they need to belong just for bragging rights as far as peers and stuff again nothing that makes it any different than other trackers out there

FTN is a ratioless 0day tracker, awesome right? You bet! Anywayz, FTN is an old, respected, and well known tracker amongst those "in the know," and invites are pretty damn rare. That pretty much sums up why it's so popular. As a member myself, what attracts me the most about it is that it's got a really small but dedicated userbase and as such has a small footprint in the private P2P community. Other than that it's just another tracker, like many other trackers that offer scene releases. The whole 'aura' about FTN that attracts everyone is the fact that it's not easy to get an invite.

GFT is a scene tracker also is ratioless
but it does not have packs
so you can download packs from SCC
SCC's scene packs are all freeleech, so if you only want their packs, SCC can be seen as ratioless
so i guess SCC's scene packs + GFT can be the replacement for FTN
but FTN's community is better than GFT, but may be equal with SCC's

Speaking about the forums, this line can't be applied. True that GFT forum is a deadzone, but FTN's one is filled with spammers and "rate that ass" threads, true activity is lower to a minimum. I will be making assumptions, but i would guess that SCC boards are better than this, just need an actual member to confirm it.

FTN wanted for two groups of reasons. First, mentioned in previous posts (good community, old tracker and experience members ... etc). But the second reason which is most of users want FTN because of it, is because it's very hard to get. I think this tracker is useless for a true sharing users. It has a very low database (users and contents). TL, IPT and SCC can beat FTN easy.

it is human nature, to want the things we cant have... think of it when you were smaller, didnt you envy those kids in your class who had nice toys and candy(yes candy) and now you(you as in general) envy your friends or coworkers with the nice car or hot girl, same mentality applies here we want ft, the cars, the girls, the rare stuff and thats human nature. we want more than what we have... as for ftn replacement idk, i dont have an ftn account to analyze but judging from the review and other users, btn, scc, etc a combination of other trackers will satisfy you
