Thread: private tracker staff in TI

hey i have herd that (like demonoid tl etc) have their people(staff) registered at your website nd they keep an eye on all invites being exchanged



is it true if it is then it is a matter of concern..plz reply

if you follow the rules and edit out your username and also have a totally different user name on TI, as well as the other little tidbits we express you practice while giving out invites on our forum you should have no worries

I definetly know there are registered staff members here, Ive been contacted by them in the past. Be smart follow the edditing and dont play into any of the politics and they usually leave you alone.

ok...i use a totally diff username should i change it frequently???

nd i will follow rules bt to check each nd every1 frm who i get an invite or to whom i give a invite is a bit difficult what should i do

yup i guess its true there are staff members who have passed introduction and are able to access whole forum,though its difficult to point out them it becomes our liability to keep ourselves and our invitees safe from them.
basically demonoid n TL are least of concern but trackers like what,TD are pretty serious about their invites given in forums.
precautions to be taken
1- properly edited screenshot proofs
2- send your profile links to only trusted members
3- use different usernames on each tracker
4- choose your invitees wisely
5- Security Warning (CSS Hack)
6- keep a separate email id just to register with trackers

nope you need not change your username frequently just keep ur username at T-I different from those used at trackers

It always amuses me how rabid some people are about ensuring T-I's rules are followed and enforced, yet them so willingly go about systematically breaking a trackers rules by participating in giveaways with their invites. It's an odd mentality that truly fascinates me. :P

PS: Don't take that the wrong way. I personally am of the belief that invite forums that aren't partaking in trading/selling, are to a trackers benefit. More users = larger swarms which in turn should = more frequent donors which = long term survival. ;)

PPS: I am far more likely to invite a user that has the same nick at all/most of their trackers than someone that doesn't. A user with numerous tracker nicks triggers alarm bells for me. Too much paranoia just looks like a user is trying to hide from something.

Its the truth. They are among us, its a logical assumption. :) If you're not a scammer or trader, you don't have to worrie about anything because I think that most trackers don't mind users from T-I, because they know how strict the rules are. :)
