Thread: What do I do now?

Hello all,
I signed up awhile ago, and do not know what to do with this great site. I seem to be getting lost.

I see that I need to post on the forum, but am not going to blindly post nonsense to get my percentage up.



My major reason for joining this site is to become a part of a private tracker for console games like the old ntorrents.
My question is what must I do to get myself an invite for these types of trackers?

Since you are 10% you can go into the 10% giveaway section under area 51. There they should have some invites to some trackers that specialize in gaming. Right now, I see a few for bitgamer and underground gamer. You can check the review section to see which ones you like.

You may well find the invites that you are looking for in the 10% giveaway area. And as stooki pointed, out if you're not sure what tracker you are looking, you will find the review section interesting.

Past that, it isn't or at least shouldn't be a race to make a bunch of posts to get into the 33% or 55% forums. I haven't noticed the "33%" and "55%" forums to be overflowing with stacks of mystical invites. Nor are the progress percentages based solely on your post count, but rather on a combination of reputation e.g. feedback and posts. The idea being that if you participate in the community you'll have fun and eventually get to whatever level. This site does have a great community. IMO, the journey is at least as important as some distant and perhaps illusory goal that we might set for ourselves.

But nonetheless, the invites you want will likely show up in the 10% forum.

get invites under 10% give aways...i would suggest you to give away invites if you are member of any good private tracker....PLZ donot TRADE invites or u will b banned

I would suggest just lurking the forum for a while and commenting on what you can. Tutorials and just general chat you can always comment on what others have to say. As long as you input something of some worth you should eventually get there.

If you are interested in bit-torrent, then there is plenty going on in these forums to keep you interested. Focus on becoming part of the T-I community, engage in the discussions that interest you, start a new discussion, and in the Think Tank section there are lots of forums that do not focus on wider points of interest outside of the bit-torrent world.

If you become involved in the community you will have no problems getting invites to the trackers that interest you.
