    If you have only seedbox that means you will have access to torrent client, FTP, maybe HTTP download area, maybe SSH shell, etc.
    If you have VPS than you will have complete access to your server, it may have all those seedbox features plus some more of them like option to reinstall OS, graphical desktop, root access etc.

    Windows based VPS: with enabled remote desktop you can access it with clients that support RDP protocol.
    Linux based VPS: most commonly used remote graphical desktops are VNC and NX server.
