Thread: IRC - Registered with wrong email address

I accidentally registered the wrong email address with the nickserver for IRC. So I can not get the confirmation email to for it.



I made Beenie1 on the IRC and was kicked out for not being a TI member:(

So "Beenie" has the wrong email address and can not register.

"Beenie1" is registered, but the email address needs to go to "Beenie"

Is there a way to fix this?

just drop the registration by typing /msg nickserv drop and your irc password that you use to register the nick and then reregister with the right email I will lift the ban of your nick beenie1 off the channel but you must join with your TI nick

I was able to "Drop" beenie1 by doing the following
1. /msg nickserv identify password
2. /msg nickserv drop beenie1

I can not drop "Beenie"

If I type /msg nickserv drop password i get:
- Password authentication required for that command.
- Retry after typing /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password

If i type /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password, it says "This nick is awaiting an e-mail verification code before completing registration."

Since the email address is wrong i can't get the code.

okay so type /memoserv cereal send and explain your situation to cereal and send him the proper email and ask theat the code be sent to your email

could someone delete my nick plz

okay if you are not able to get into the account it will delete after 120 days by the system so just use beanie1 for now
