Hey, is hd-space down??
anyone know why?

It's definitely down, but I haven't heard why

Seen a post the other day on their site regarding donations. They said they couldn't afford the server costs themselves and were only 45-ish % funded by donations. I believe this is why.

Damn, I had a great ratio there. Hope they find a way to make it back.

Now I get a log-in page, but it has a planet getting hit by asteroids. Seems to hang up when logging on and doesn't even show up in Chrome.

Maybe hope is not lost. :)

Ye, same here and its been like that for a couple of days.

I get a Apache test page now.

The site had an ongoing site-wide FreeLeech when it started to behave oddly (SQL errors, tracker announce issues, etc.) a couple of hours before shutting down.

Doesn't sound planned to me...
