Here's my confusion, what does the SBD/CABLE/SAT label exactly stands for?

Basically SBD, Cable, and SAT are different sources.

SBD - MP3 FILE supplied by a radio station or DJ (and not recorded from a webstream)
CABLE - from Analog Cable
SAT - from Analog or Digital SAT

This should cover most of the releases that you will see:

FM - analog radio (terrestrial)
CABLE - analog cable
SAT - analog or digital satellite
DAB - digital audio broadcast
DVBS - digital video broadcast (satellite)
DVBC - digital video broadcast (cable)
DVBT - digital video broadcast (terrestrial)
MD - minidisc
AUD - direct live recording (from audience)
LINE - direct recording from soundboard (through LINE-IN interface)
SBD - mp3 file supplied by radio station or DJ (and not recorded from a web stream)
