Thread: Download speed stability

Hello , i have an annoying problem with download speed.
my speed goes between 10k-1.6M but most of the time its low.
my port are fine and im downloading torrent with a lot of seeders

check the port if its open.optimize overall number of connections.also try changing download bandwidth limit sometimes in utorrent it limits speed to 10 kbps even if it is set to unlimited
try speedtest to check if ur isp is creating any problems
run antivirus full scan.


Plz do mention ur bit client

public or private torrent?
does your upload speed jump at the same time?

it would be cool if you'd post a screenshot of the "speed" tab opened.

First turn off DHT, second limit your upload speeds if you want to reach the full download speed. =) and third install uTorrent :P

also run Options -> Setup Guide -> Run tests
and run Options -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Disk Cache -> Override automatic cache size... set to 64MB or more if you have an slow/external hdd :)
