    Default CAPTCHAS does not show

Here is my little problem.. I can't see captchas at all.. (IE9, IE10, FF, Chrome, Opera)
So annoying to have to use the laptop to post stuff in several forums and so on..
Have anyone encountered this problem and managed to fix it?
I have tried "everything" except reinstall Win7..

    Cheers

Can you confirm if cookies are actually set on websites anymore; captcha uses a third-party cookie that needs to be set/accepted on the PC before it can work.

Furthermore, the fact is doesn't work in several browsers, leads me to believe you might have a problem with Javascript or Flash; have you tried reinstalling the Flash and Shockwave plugins recently?

One of the last resorts, just shy of reinstalling, is to go to your Start -> Run -> "sfc /scannow" and see what comes up.

Do you have anything that blocks javascript? I use NoScript so obviously soem recaptchas fk up for me, but yours is not just one browser, so possibly something in your firewall or a corrupt javascript file somewhere? Sometimes things like that just happen randomly. The other day my firewall started blocking Twitter without my knowledge.

Holy crap it works... I don't even know what I did.. It haven't worked for months actually, just haven't had time to ask for help... How silly.
I did install Microsoft Visual C++ to get a .dll file yesterday though. Can it have to with something? :S

Glad it's working now. This type of problem usually has something to do with java, flash or cookies not working. So you have to check any cookie management or script blocking software or addons. Or reinstall java. It's possible that thr Visual C++ install updated your java platorm or scripting engine + that is what made the difference.
