Thread: FyT: account has not been confirmed?

I got an invite for and registered on FuckYeahTorrents a couple of days ago, but since then my login and password do not work. Trying to reset the password, I get

"You cannot reset your password because your account has not been confirmed!"

I remember when I registered the site saying my inviter should confirm my registration, but if that is the case, he is yet to get around to it. Should I message him and ask him to confirm or does the site really take this long to validate new accounts? Or my problem is something completelly different and I screwed my registration?

Any info is greatly appreciated!

You should have received a separate email to confirm your account.

I registered an account but did not receive the confirmation e-mail!

You can contact site staff with your request on irc

Server SSL: - irc.fuckyeahtorrents.com:+7721/fuckyeah

Server NON-SSL: - irc.fuckyeahtorrents.com:7029/fuckyeah

Usually you should have received a confirmation email to your mail-account you registered with. By clicking the link you should be able to confirm your new account by yourself.
As soon as the invitation leaves the account of your inviter he is out of this :)

Probably it has been moved to the spam folder, as this is a common pitfall.
