Thread: How to rip flash videos from websites?

I'm trying to figure out how to rip a video/movie that is streaming from a website. I'm trying to rip this The Frank Anderson | The Click List: Best in Short Film and upload it as a torrent, someone is requesting it.

I know it's possible but I can't find the information on how to do it. If anyone could help with this, it would be much appreciated.

Well if is live streaming is hard and I dont know but it is on demand, is quite simple FF addons do it, and some download managers, like Orbit as well, they both are pretty straightforward, but again if the video is on-demand, but only is FLV quality not as good as scene rips of pr0n sites, etc.

With Firefox? I use DownloadHelper extension

almost none of the addons in firefox work on dis site
well i worked on it for 6-7 hours churning ma little brain, coz i cud not accept the fact that we cud not record the streaming video which is playing in our pc
well it seemed impossible that we cud not jst record it, but whn i actually tried to save the file thn i come to knw the complexities of it.
after 2 hrs of fruitless effort i had also started to believe that the sites are smart enough to harass users like us
but hell i cant accept the fact smthn dis overtly simple can be impossible, i do believe nthn is impossible on internet
after diggin a lot at last stumbled across a command i was bout to pass out thinkin it was so simple
so here is the simple soft that will download u any any streaming video
now dnt ask how to improve quality of the video coz i m so fucked up to dig in any further

jst browse the page with video on rtmpexplorer n click on vid and the rest wud be done automatically
you can digg in further to improve quality wid commands n all in rtmpdump and rtmpserv
