    hm...
there doesn't seem to be anything obvious wrong with your system...
did you OC your system or is it stock? you might want to check for faulty RAM as well as take out one of the GPUs...

First of all, WinXP (I'm assuming you have 32-bit since 64-bit does not have a third service pack) can only support up to 4 gigs of RAM. So 2 of your 6 GB of RAM are being wasted. Now, this probably is not causing your problem, but it's something you should think about. Specs-wise, everything seems fine and it's clearly a powerful machine. I would first try checking for registry errors with RegCure and then clean out your system with CCleaner. Next step would probably be to defragment your hard drive with Window's own defragmenting tool or a third party one like Defraggler. If none of those work, the last resort would be to do a clean install of Windows after backing up your data.
    Hope that helps!

    32 bits
I just test with one memory at a time, not solved but I got a notion that no longer freeze so often in such a short time or is it just my impression :P
This is annoying in the movies is a 10 sec steady and sometimes the sound does not freeze, continues and the image buffer that is kind to catch the sound.
Now im running SuperantiSpyware to see if catch any problem i doubt but lets try, then i go to do a defrag on my disks. Dont remember anything more to do :S

I'm running SAS found so far a "trojan agent gen Kryptic" second search on Google is a false positive.
SAS is running about 2 hours it will take a good bit.
After defrag I update the thread.
That RegCure found 95 problems of activex COM but i cant buy the software and cant repair this errors

your system looks pretty good but you are missing the ssd :) also upgrade to windows 7 to take advantage of the hardware.

My bad...I forgot that you had to pay to fix problems with RegCure. Try Eusing Free Registry Cleaner or the built in Registry Cleaner in CCleaner.

I would try reinstalling windows and see if that fixes the problem if it don't then its most likely a hardware problem.
Also you may want to upgrade to windows 7 with that system

When I got upset i will format and put the W7 or beta of W8, i wanted to avoid the formatting.
Improved but still notice a few freezes, I'll give an example where we want to select a wide area on the desktop for example, the first attempt is selected (fixed) and only comes out if you refresh (F5).
If you select from the right and walk in circles with the mouse the starting point jumps to another side part, never having stoped the first selection.
    It may be memories?
testing with individual memory on every slot the same thing happens.

hi m8, here are a few software programs that you could perhaps run and make sure your hardware is configured properly in the bios
    Prime95 (32bit) - 25.11 Download - EXTREME Overclocking
prime 95 can test only cpu by selecting small ftp's or large to test ram
you could google further to get a better understanding:)
MemTest: RAM reliability tester for Windows, mem test is also another great tool to test ram and stability
my first hunch is have you set manufacturers voltage manually in bios and further more ram timings
also voltage settings in bios as well?
have you got the latest bios release flashed?
i think you first need to rule out that all hardware is configured properly and in working order before moving on windows but it also could be windows aswell?
CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
cpu-z is another great monitoring tool that can show you how your hardware is doing
also check your temps? as high temps could also cause instability
    good luck m8:)
yes i agree that ram could cause your problems or even cpu

You should also try to update your drivers, if you haven't done that yet!
The other tips given here should help as well :)
