I use to get that with them for one of two reason
    1) Public tracker
    2) large torrent (use to have to use transmission on another service as rtorrent on three seedboxes wouldn't load very large torrents)

I don't use their service any longer.

if ftp is enabled, you can add it to watch folder & it will be added automatically to rutorrent webui.

    cheers

never heard that public torrents wont get accepted in rutorrent. the most common issue is a too large bt file(like 1MB or more). For those, drop them, like chociz in the watch folder...

I thought that rutorrent used the watch folder? Thats how avalanche gave rtorrent the torrent files that were uploaded, and thats how i made my rtorrent UI do it...I am also quite certain that's how every guide i've seen on how to configure rutorrent makes it pass torrents to rtorrent.

Also is your box loaded? rtorrent can be set to stop loading torrents once a certain percentage of the disk or memory is used.

If it is a VPS, it could simply be that the daemon is not running but the web UI is.

    Transmission ftw :D

IMO this thread belonged in the Help section so I moved it.

This can also happen if the retracker-plugin is a bit messed up but not always the case.

Unfortunately, I can totally relate to the question; there is exactly 1 tracker that displays this problem for me as well but only if I'm already seeding the same files on 4 or more trackers elsewhere. It won't ever accept the torrent from this 1 tracker and start hashing/seeding.
