Thread: Need help!

Hi
Recently i'm being having problems with utorrent. Every time i download a movie, the movie dont seem to be downloading because an error message appears saying access is denied! I dont know why is that it but when i look at the trackers, the status say inactive. I have never seen this problem.

Can anyone help me please?

This is probably a folder permission error. That means you may not have access to the folder where you are downloading (or, more likely, you do have access but windows is screwing stuff up). Try downloading in a different location. If that does not work, try resetting the permissions for the folder where you are downloading.
This is how to do it in Windows 7 (should be similar in other versions):

- Open explorer so you see your download folder.
- Right click your download folder and choose properties.
- Go to the security tab.
- There you will a a couple of groups and user names (even if you only have one account).
- Click for example CREATOR OWNER.
- Click edit.
- Choose full control.
- Do this for each and every user group, which you think needs permission.
- Try downloading the torrent there again after changing the permissions.
