Thread: 3d Questions

Hey guys.

Just looking for a little help here,
So, I have Avatar on PS3 and you can put it on "3D" mode and it like creates 2 pictures near to each other, Is glasses all i need to see that in 3d? Cant try this as my friend has the game at the moment. The game says something about a TV to see it in 3D? But I have DVD's that I watch on my normal TV and they appear 3D.



Also is it true there are tv's now that you can see in 3d without glasses?

I went to the cinema to see TT3D (about the Isle Of Man TT Races) which was brilliant in 3D.

Lastly, could you download 3D torrents and watch them on the pc with the glasses from the cinema?

Two pictures side by side requires a stereoscopic player. There are different types of 3D. Yes, you can use the theater glasses depending on what type of 3D the movie is in. Chances are, the glasses you mean are the black plastic "Real D" ones from the newer movies. Yes, if you find a movie that is that type of 3D (slips my memory which), then yes, they will work. Most 3D movies use the standard Red/Cyan Anaglyph glasses though, which can be bought online for cheap.
