Thread: external hard drive problem

I have 2 external hard drives...
1 bought 1 week ago.. 1.5 TB (NTFS)
I put some freeleech on it a megapack.. for some tracker.. uploaded enough and deleted the mega pack...
If I take a look @ all the files who are still on it.. it's +- 100 GB...
but if I want 2 put something new on it.. It's says its full... and if I go 2 my computer than 2 my hard drive it also says theres almost no space left... while the should be 1.3 tb free space on it...
I have a feeling there is some hidden trash can or whatever..
somebody knows how 2 get that space back?

I think that there should be 200gb free space on my other hard drive (1tb) as well...

Defrag. have you set the properties on the external drive to show hidden files? there may be some pre loaded software on the drive.

Clean your trash, I had this kind of problem, it depends of the HDD.
