    Default Explanation of terms?

I've been all around the forums and I'm thinking that since my questions aren't necessarily related to each other and spread out all over, it might be quicker to just compile them and ask in one place. No sense posting silly questions in all the different forums.

    1. What is an "invite tree"?
    2. Why would someone's account be "tracked" thus be cause for delaying an igiver?
    3. What is FLAWL3SS? I only see negative posts about it but no explanation about what it is/does.
    4. What is the purpose of certain private trackers banning someone who belongs to T-I?
    5. Why doesn't what.cd along with 3-4 others play nice according to TI standards?

I think that about covers it. Hopefully I won't appear so ignorant when I go looking for an invite.

    1. All people who certain person invited plus all invited by them and so on.
    4. They probably want their invites to be passed only to people you personally know. Or just don't believe that invite forums can be a good source of invitees.

    1. Invite tree is all the users you have invited under you and then their invited users under them and so on.
    2. Don't understand what you mean
    3. FLAWL3SS does encodes of films but most users prefer other groups such as CHD or scene groups, Is personal preference but FLAWL3SS encodes aren't that great
    4. Some trackers hate users who invite other users with knowing them in person
    5. Because they rather regulate who enters their site by recruitment or interviews

Thanks for all the answers which now make perfect sense.

Regarding question #2 - This is what Trevor posted about Invite rules: " Once you have successfully received and signed up to the tracker you have applied for, you MUST leave an iGiver (How to give an iGiver). We do recommend that you wait a couple of days before doing this, the aim of this is to reduce the chances of your newly acquired account being tracked"

What does it mean to have your account tracked by a tracker?

well there are certain trackers who regulate invite sites looking for members who are participating on giveaways and the igiver might lead them back to your account. If other things fall into play like the time your invitee register his account, if the invitee fail to use a unique name on the tracker and so forth so we just ask that you hold off on the igiver we do not mandate it

I see. To clarify, is it just the similarity of user names that can be tracked back to TI or are there also tracker spies here as well?

They could have members here, keeping an eye out on what is going on. One worry would be that in some point in the future a tracker staff can come search the forums and see that iGiver was dated April 3rd and that only one person signed up April 3rd. The thought is that by delaying the iGiver (say for 2 or 3 days) it makes it harder to figure out exactly when the person signed up.
