Thread: Program Troubles

First, I'd like to say thank you for such a nice forum and I hope it's welcoming. Either way, I hope my question fits here and can be answered. If it doesn't, then please excuse my mistake.



Onto the question. I downloaded a program over my torrent and now it won't work. I have followed the directions but would like to know if anyone has experience with Photoshop CSS5 torrents. I'd appreciate any of your time. Once again, if I made a mistake, please excuse me.

Can you mention what is the problem you're facing? (Screens are always helpful)

Thank you for the replying. But basically, the program was working fantastically for a while. Unfortunately, suddenly one day it wouldn't even open. I'll click upon the program icon, to launch it, and it will act as if it's opening. A process will even open in the task manager for a millisecond, before just stopping. As if the program isn't working. I've been told it has something to do with authentication and I'd give screens, but there is nothing to show. hehe.

I appreciate any experience of tips anyone can give.

Do you still have the original downloaded files?

Did you follow the steps coorectly, are you 100% percent sure?

Un-install it then re-install?

I have done all the steps. As said, I did get it working before for about a month or two, which makes this so peculiar. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, I just don't know if there is a corrupt file somewhere or something. Was hoping I could find someone that had run into the same problem.

Is there any other PS CSS files I can try, maybe it will write a bit different. :/

Check your Windows Event Logs (Start -> Right Click on Computer -> Manage -> Event Viewer -> Windows Logs -> Application ) around the time you attempted to launch the program in question. If it crashed or anything errored out, it will be in there.

Also, if you have any type of Intrusion Prevention software installed, check the logs there as well. Comodo, Zonealarm (Ugh) and ilk can cause issues with (poorly written) programs.
