Thread: utorrent help

hi friends i start my utorrent today morning.it was working ok..then i go on my duty.i keep run my pc in my absent.when i return back my from duty.my utorrent client was blank there is no torrent in my client.i wanna now is it client problem or some body remove torrents in my absent.is it happen somebody else also.

I dont think it does that by itself. Maybe there was someone who removed the torrents?

I would agree. It is very unlikely, that the torrents get removed completely.

If a problem occurs, like a full HDD or some connection problem, the torrents get automatically stopped or set to pause-mode.
But there is no way they get removed because of such a problem.

The only possibility I could imagine, aside someone accessing your computer during your absence, would be a configuration issue.
As soon as you reach a certain ratio or seed-time on a torrent you can configure utorrent to remove it.

Please check your sheduler and quota-options in the client if anything like that is setup in there.

press F7 to "Show Category List". if there are 0 torrents, then somebody probably deleted the torrent. look at the destination folder to check whether the files are still there or did they get deleted with the torrent. if the files are still there, then no serious damage has been done.
