Thread: Bit HQ, didnt receive confirmation email

Hello
as u know Bit HQ is open for registration
i registered and used my Hotmail to signup
and i have to confirm it, but till now (4 hours had passed) i didnt receive any confirmation email :(
i dont wanna re-register using another email, or i will end up banned with my name on wat they call it "Wall of Shame"

Have you tried their IRC channel (or checked your spam folder)?

yes i have checked my spam folder
went to the channel, they said its not Bit hq irc :/

Hotmail in general is known to not work very well with tracker signups, as some of the mails get blocked directly and not even sent to the spam folder.

This is a little annoying, and I'd always try to use gmail as registration address.

Other than that, and to help you in this specific case, there seems to be no other way than to talk to the admins on their irc, or wait till the confirmation mail expires (usually 24 hours) and reregister after that.

That shouldn't be a problem as you didn't actually create the first account.

waiting till email expires, they might close registrations.

I think you'd better wait for longer time.Hotmail is not good for receiving invitation,you'd better use Gmail instead.

but i have tried hotmail many times, working good
last time was about an hour ago with HD-space
