Thread: What's the cheapest tablet pc now?

I want a tablet pc . But now there are 2.2 /2.3 /3.0 android OS for Tablet PCs! I do not know which the better android OS ! also looking for the new and cheap android tablet pc. althought it's price pretty low, the quality is confirmed. Anyone get some information or had one? just tell me, Thanks!

You should really consider Fuitsu Tablets.

The highest price I saw was about $1,200. The lowest was $800.

The Barnes & Noble Nook Color, rooted; You get a decently powerful 7 inch color android tablet for about $250 and minimal work.

I'm sure they can be had even cheaper on ebay.

So there are already a few suggestions on which Tablet you should buy, and I honestly have no suggestions for you in that regard. However, I can tell you that Android 2.2 and 2.3 OSs are meant for smartphones, while Android 3.0 is meant solely for Tablets. Smartphone numbering will continue with the 2.x numbering system and Tablets will continue with 3.x for now, and will be merged somewhere over the next year or two. So if I were looking for an Android tablet right now, I would only for those with Android 3.0.

I agree with teedee. you should go with 3.0 instead of 2.X. in fact developers advised Android not to use the 2.x OS for tablets but they did so anyways because they wanted to quickly compete with the ipad
